Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing well through this unusual conditions.
One of the first steps when you have to manage a project, you have to chose your priorities and manage your time appropriately to achieve your goal. The timeline gives you a visual idea of the important deliveries of your project.
I would like to ask your help because I need to create a timeline, could you suggest me some free tools to use please?
In my experience, for the simple project I prefer using Photoshop, for the complicated project I use Asana and Instagantt.
I am ok with these, but I would like trying to use another tool!!
Thanks for your help 🙂

8 February 2021 at 15:55 #3304Hi Marta, for your “simple project” I will suggest draw.io 😉
Simple and web-based (you can access your sketch from anywhere).
8 February 2021 at 16:59 #3305I believe Trello is really easy to use as well!
9 February 2021 at 11:46 #3326Thank you Claudio!
I looked draw.io and it appeared very user friendly, but Can I customize the backgrounds? Moreover, what format should I select to save the timeline?
9 February 2021 at 11:51 #3327Thanks Hesham for you reply, I had tried this tool but I had not found myself very well. It is not very intuitive and does not allow me to customize the map.
Do you have another suggestion please?
Thank you 🙂

9 February 2021 at 11:55 #3329Hi Marta,
well, you should consider it as a replacement for photoshop, not for asana or trello.
Managing vectorial graphics (like autocad) instead of raster image (like photoshop) should make your life easier, you can upscale/downscale as much as you want!
To change the background, on the right panel you’ll find “background” 😉
9 February 2021 at 14:01 #3331Hi Marta,
you can try Timeline maker! Although I have used it a few times, I find it interesting and very intuitive.
You use timeline templates give you a quick and easy starting point to create your timeline, and you can customize every aspect of it to fit your project.
Let me know what you think!
15 February 2021 at 10:53 #3366Thank you Claudio for your help! Cecilia I found Timelinke Maker very interesting and funny, it’s similar to Canva, I like it!
Thank you all 🙂
12 April 2021 at 14:07 #3417I suggest you take a look at this, which I recently discovered and I’m finding out well
I love free-mium formulas 😉
