      We are pleased to announce that IJERPH is now inviting nominations for the 2020 Young Investigator Award. This prize will be given to one young investigator in recognition of her/his excellence in the field of environmental science and public health research. All nominations will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Paul B. Tchounwou. The deadline for submitting the nomination materials online is 30 November 2020.

      The Award will consist of:

      – 2000 CHF (Swiss Francs);

      – The option to publish one paper free of charge in IJERPH after peer review before the end of December 2021;

      – An engraved plaque.

      The Award will consist of:

      – Candidates must be under 40 years of age or have received their PhD no more than 10 years prior to 30 November 2020;

      – Candidates must have conducted ground-breaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of the environmental science and public health research;

      – Candidates must be nominated by their supervisor(s), research director, or department head.

      List of Documents for Nomination:

      – Detailed curriculum vitae, including an updated publication list and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;

      – Birth certificate or other proof of age;

      – Scanned copy of doctorate certificate;

      – Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.
