(Liberia) – With long years of experience in Social Justice Advocacy, Leadership, Peace building, Organizational development and Project implementation, Amb. Robert K. Gboluma, Jr. is a commissioned young ambassador for peace. Graduated in management and economics, he attended several intensive international trainings in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Guinea and Sierra Leone where he earned training certificates in the areas of project development, monitoring & evaluation, research methodology, leadership, campaigning, advocacy, networking and organizational management.
She worked with USA, UK and Australia clients in IT, Telecom, Accounts Receivables
and HealthCare projects. Studied MBA in Berlin from Berlin School of Business and Innovation, supporting a Green Technology Innovation projects start up in Germany as a volunteer.
(USA) – Jeremy Coats serves as Lead of Foundation Programs at the Institute of International Education (IIE) in the USA. During his time at IIE, he has managed various scholar and researcher exchange programs. Jeremy is also pursuing a Doctorate of Education at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Additionally, he served in the Peace Corps in Mali as an instructor at the University of Bamako and the Conservatory of Arts and Multimedia Balla Fasseké Kouyate. His experiences include program management, monitoring and evaluation, training and communications.
(Spain) – Rachel is currently Project Manager of Circular Economy projects at the Spanish consultancy firm Lavola in Barcelona. She currently manages 5 projects, some European/national public projects and other private projects with clients. As she only has 6 months experience as a project manager, she is eager to gain more knowledge and practice through the ISPM course that she can then apply to her job at Lavola. She is motivated to work with other young professionals from other backgrounds and come away from the course with more project management skills to carry out her job successfully.
He is currently working as an IT Project Manager, in an international team for Avery Dennison.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Management Engineering. He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish, English and basic Portuguese and worked in Barcelona and Italy.
He recently came back to Europe after spending two years in Tokyo, Japan.
He recently got his PMP certification to further enhance his PM skills. The second edition of
ISPM will be a chance to develop his skills in a different environment.
(Netherlands) – InnoEnergy MSc Student in Energy Transition and a CommUnity Leader, he has always been interested in Business and Project Management fields. So, he acquired a certification in Project Management from PRINCE2® Foundation in addition to an Entrepreneurship training from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. Moreover, he has professional experience in managing projects in Energy companies. He applied for ISPM to gain more skills in Project Management focused on clinical research.
(Malawi) – With a PhD in Agribusiness management, he is General Manager for Central Region Milk Producers Association in Malawi, Africa. He has experience in designing/programming of development projects, business development, operations management, facilitation of multi-stakeholder platforms, and advocacy. The ISPM will equip Charles with knowledge and skills to effectively design, manage and implement new projects to uplift the lives of poor farmers in Malawi.
(Nigeria) – With a Master’s of Science (M.Sc) degree in Public Administration, he is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Local Government, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is currently awaiting the defense of his doctoral thesis from the same University. Member of International Project Management Professional (IPMP) and experienced researcher in policy implementation, he is currently working on the Implementation of Millennium development Goal 2 on universal basic education programme in Enugu State.
(Nepal) – With a Master in Public health, he is successfully serving his tenure as chairman of Public Health Research Society Nepal (PHRSN) from 2014, where he develop research proposals and tools, contribute developing linkages with national and international agencies, and make use of research methods in quantitative, qualitative and mix methods, including health policy and systems research. He is also scholar of the KAC Global Tobacco Harm Reduction Scholarship Programme 2019. Additionally, he works as visiting professor at public health colleges and universities of Nepal.
(Brasil) – Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Rio de Janeiro State University since 2013. She is currently coordinating a multidisciplinary team with the task of modelling Brazilian harm reduction for e-cigarettes on contemporary and future smokers. She has some experience in project management since her research post-doc at JHMI (USA) where she learned how to deal with research projects at basic level (write grants, data analyses, timelines and reports). She is sure that this course will certainly strengthen her group in achieving more effective research management and therefore better results.
(New Zealand) – Chemist and a Pharmacist from the National University of Colombia with studies in Public Health in the medical University of Taipei. She has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for several years and in the last couple of years as a community pharmacist. Her close connection with vulnerable populations has encouraged her to lead projects in harm reduction, within homeless populations, drug addicts and LGBTI communities. She currently works as the chief scientist of Myriad Pharmaceuticals in New Zelaand, an independent manufacturer who seeks the integration of all-harm reduction technologies within the community.
(Italy) – With a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering, she is currently completing her Master’s Degree at University of Catania as a student of the School of Excellence “Scuola Superiore di Catania”. She’s learning the basics of Modeling and optimization, Business management and Organization, Design and production control. Fascinated by the game theory in social science and the economic psychology, she applied to the ISPM to learn the best strategies to make projects feasible, flexible and successful.
(Spain) – With a PhD in Cell Biology and Genetics from the Autonoma University of Madrid, she is the scientific advisor, founder and coordinator of various civil associations related to Tobacco Harm Reduction. In 2016 she founded her own scientific consulting company and has been developing studies on THR products. She contributed to create the first Spanish medical platform for Tobacco Harm Reduction, and she is currently the co-spokes person and coordinator, helping also to design, develop and fund the research projects of spanish Doctor and Professors who want to investigate about THR.
(Italy) – With a Degree in Medicine and Surgery and a Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolism, he is currently a research fellow at the University of Catania. He is co-investigator of clinical research trials and author of scientific publications in national and international journals in the diabetes field. Winner of different prizes and awards for the designing of clinical trials, he applied to the ISPM to improve his skills in implementation strategies, networking management, monitoring project progress, managing risks and preparing study reports.
(Italy) – Majoring in business administration, entrepreneur, partner in startup consultancy firm dealing in developing third sector entities and SMEs, he aims to set the bases for social change. He recently completed a master’s degree in European funds management and design tools. Associated with Università di Tor Vergata to continue its professional growth as a project manager, he has over 1 million euro of projects under approval and manages, for one of the project partners, a call from the MiBAC to aid children in disadvantaged areas.
(Italy) – Graduated in Communication Sciences, she is currently completing her Master’s Degree at University of Catania in Sociology of Networks, Information and Innovation. For two years she worked in a start-up team about crowdfunding and fundraising online as Community Manager. Actually she deals with digital communication as Copywriter, Social media manager and Business developer for various companies. She applied to the ISPM to understand how to develop a successful project and learn the best strategies to apply concretely research social theories to projects.
